Setting the Time & Date (CloudLite)

If you are a Cloud Pro subscriber, the time & date settings for your device are managed on the us.timedox.com website. Click here for instructions.

If you have Cloud Lite/Plus account, the time and date are configured directly on your device. Some devices have different menu options. Due to varying menu layouts among devices, we've supplied two sets of instructions to cater to your specific device.

3. Set the date and time, using the keypad and arrows.
4. Press 'M/OK' to save settings.
5. Press ESC to return to the main screen.
6. Verify that the date and time are correct.

1. Press (O/◄) to power on the Time-clock.
2. Press-and-hold 'M/OK' to display the main menu.
3. Select System and then select Date/Time .
4. Set the date and time, using the keypad and arrows.
5. Press 'M/OK' to save settings.
6. Press ESC to return to the main screen.
7. Verify that the date and time are correct.

When setting the time in date, keep in mind that the device are configured for 24-hour format/military time. Please review the chart below if you are unsure what 12-hour format is when converted to 24-hour format.

Please be aware that modifications to time or timezone settings will not retrospectively impact existing punches. If a time or timezone adjustment occurs during a work day or shift, it is recommended to review all timecards and manually make adjustments to accommodate the change.

An alternative approach is to perform the time switch only when all employees have clocked out for the day or shift. In such cases, no manual adjustments are necessary, as the subsequent shift or day punches will automatically align with the updated time or timezone.

For example, if the clock initially shows 8:00 AM, and an employee punches in, and then the time or timezone is shifted an hour ahead, the employee's timecard should be manually updated to reflect 9:00 AM for that specific punch. Failure to do so could result in an extended duration for that shift in the timecard report.

All punches recorded after the time or timezone change will accurately reflect the new settings..
