When setting the time in date, keep in mind that the device are configured for 24-hour format/military time. Please review the chart below if you are unsure what 12-hour format is when converted to 24-hour format.

Keep in mind that changes to time/timezone will not retroactively effect existing punches.
If the time/timezone is changed in the middle of a work day/shift, it is advised to check all timecards and adjust manually to account for the change.
Alternatively, no manual adjustments are required if all the employees are clocked-out for the day/shift and only then the time switch is carried out. In such a case the next shift/day punches will be automatically adjusted to the changed time/timezone.

Ex: The clock reflects 8:00 AM and an employee punches in. Shortly after, the time/timezone is moved to an hour ahead. The employees timecard will need to be manually adjusted to reflect 9:00 AM for that existing punch, otherwise the shift will be one hour longer in the timecard report.
All punches after the change is made, will reflect the new time/timezone.
