Change Employee Department

If you are a Cloud Pro monthly subscriber you can request more departments by submitting a support ticket, CloudLite customers are limited to one department.

If the steps below are not correct please review the second steps of instructions towards the bottom.



1. Log-in to us.timedox.com with Administrator credentials.

2. Locate ‘Employees’, in the top menu bar, and select ‘Employees Management’ from the drop-down menu.




3. Double click on the name of the employee you want to transfer.

4. Select the tab that reads 'Departments'.



5. Check the boxes based on the information provided below.

Active At (should be checked if a specific employee can punch in/out using a device connected to the department. This can be checked for multiple departments).
 
Visible At (should be checked if a specific employee can be visible in all reports and management pages associated with this department. Can be checked for multiple departments).

Home Department (should be checked if employee Inherit settings from this specific department. For example if the department start time is 9:00 am the report will record data for the next day starting at 9:00 am).



If the steps above are not correct please review the steps below.

1. Log-in to us.timedox.com with Administrator credentials.

2. Locate ‘Employees’, in the top menu bar, and select ‘Employees Management’ from the drop-down menu.




3. Double click on the name of the employee you want to transfer.

4. Select the option that reads 'Choose Employee Department'. As shown in the picture below
